In 2011, with a vision of advancing the true value of social media- something today acknowledged as a phenomenal tool- the President, Shahul Hameed Shaik Dawood, founded the Social Media Chambers (SMC), Malaysia.
The continuous upward shift of the use of social media–globally–has driven the SMC to pro-actively and dynamically help meet some of the questions and demands surrounding the digital sphere. The team continues to perform their move by linking some of the best industry thinkers and philanthropists with the audience. Additionally, the organization introduces the audience to platforms where queries are tabled, insights are shared and knowledge is advanced consequently gaining an enthusiastic audience entry into the world of social media.
Social Media Chambers (SMC) is a premier non-profit organization dedicated to advancing and advocating the discipline of credible social media. Through best practices, industry education and member value, SMC advocates social media as a channel of solution to business challenges and a key component in the creation of brands ethically.
SMC targets to reach an extensive network of people (including C-level executives, entrepreneurs, journalists, bloggers, brand managers, social media strategists, students, artists, activists and the technology/media specialist), connecting and communicating ideas and experiences to advance our understanding of social media’s role in society.
